Attorney Lori A. Wellbaum is a long-time Englewood resident and has been practicing Florida Law since 1995. She enjoys helping the community in any way possible. She’s a Board Member of the Englewood Community Hospital and a past President and Board Member of the Rotary Club of Englewood. Lori is involved in many more organizations throughout Sarasota and Charlotte County where she often volunteers for youth organizations.

Karen Bates
Probate Assistant
Karen has been a legal assistant since 2000. She handles the probate administration and back-up staff for the firm. Karen is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan. Her hobbies include spending time with her husband, doing Zumba and going to the beach. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter and grandson.
Brittany Scales
Real Estate Assistant and back-up Estate Planning Assistant
Brittany has been with the firm since 2018. She handles all real estate matters for the firm, along with helping prepare estate planning documents when needed. Ali has been with the firm since 2014. She is the office manager and also prepares all corporate and estate planning documents. When needed, she helps with probate and real estate matters. Ali is originally from Massachusetts. Her hobbies include spending time with her husband and two boys.

Elizabeth has been with the firm since 2021. She is the receptionist and handles all of the recording of documents. Elizabeth is originally from New York. Her hobbies include gardening, painting and working on her home with her husband.
